Elmer G. Mousaw, 78, Expires in Hospital

The funeral of Elmer G. Mousaw, 78, formerly of Massena, who died Wednesday in the Potsdam hospital after an illness of several months, were held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Marys church. The body was placed in the vault at St. Marys cemetery and interment will be in Massena in the spring.
He was born in Norwood in June 1871, a son of the late John and Sophia White Mousaw and spent his early life in that village. He married the former Miss Kathlyn Mayette, who died in 1937. Mr. Mousaw was employed for several years at the Aluminum company plant in Massena and later operated a rooming house in that village with his wife. Since 1937 he had resided in Potsdam with a son, Earle J. Mousaw.
Besides his son, he is survived by several sisters and brothers, grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
