I. Lucille Nagy

Vaudeville Singer

NORWOOD--There will be no funeral service for I. Lucille Nagy, 86, formerly of Norwood and Midtown Apartments, Potsdam.

 Mrs. Nagy died Tuesday in United Helpers Canton Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since October 1995.

 There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Garner Funeral Home, Potsdam.

 Mrs. Nagy sang with vaudeville bands in Ohio and Florida, moving to Potsdam in 1965. She was employed by Montgomery Ward Co., Potsdam, as a hostess at Best Western University Inn, Canton, and as a counter clerk with Ambassador Dry Cleaners, Potsdam, until her retirement.

 Born May 10, 1913, in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of George and Harriett Kriger Scheiferstein, she was a graduate of Lorraine (Ohio) High School. She married Albert Nagy on April 16, 1983. He died May 1, 1983.

 Surviving is a sister, Harriett Schabbing, Amherst, Ohio.
