(March 24, 1800-December 1903)

Benjah Phelps, uncle of S. R. and W. F. Phelps, died at Colorado Springs a few days ago He was the oldest person in the state, and would have been 104 years of age if he had lived until his next birthday, which would have been March 24, 1904. He died at the residence of his son, who is 69 years of age.
