STANLEY R. PRASHAW, PARISHVILLE, DIES AT 56

 

PARISHVILLE -- Stanley R. Prashaw, 56, of Parishville, formerly of Norwood, died Tuesday in Veterans Administration Hospital, Syracuse. He had been ill with cancer.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Buck Funeral Home, Norwood, with the Rev. Paul Worczak, pastor of St. Andrew's Church, Norwood, presiding. Burial will be in Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl; a son, Jeffrey, Norfolk; a daughter, Stephanie Prashaw, Norwood; a grandson; a brother, Gary, Norwood, and a sister, Gaile Prashaw, Plattsburgh.

Born in Malone on July 30, 1938, a son of Phillip and Bernice Savage Prashaw, he married Cheryl Simonette.

Mr. Prashaw was a veteran of the Army. He was a member of Local 278 Carpenters and Joiners Union, Watertown, for 25 years.
