NORWOOD--A graveside service for John S. Rindal, 82, Iola, Wis., formerly of Norwood, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lawrenceville.

 Mr. Rindal died Aug. 10 at Iola Nursing Home.

 He was a geological surveyor.

 Born Sept. 25, 1916, in Argonne, Wis., son of Anton and Anne Fiane Rindal, he married Helen E. Gonyea on Sept. 6, 1942, at the Episcopal Church.

 Surviving are a son, William John, Corbin, Va., and two brothers, H. T. Rindal, North Carolina, and Norman, Oregon.
