William Rogers

William Rogers, for over thirty years a resident of this village, died at his home, corner Miner and West streets, Friday after an illness of about a year, aged fifty-eight. Funeral services from the Presbyterian church. Burial at Fairview.

Mr. Rogers was born in Norwood and came to Canton when he was about eighteen years of age. He was a carpenter by trade and pursued that vocation up to within a few months of his death when illness confined him to his home.

Surviving are a widow, three sons, Harold, Frank and Henry. Two brothers and one sister also remain, viz., Byron H. and L.K. Rogers and Mrs. Nancy Scott, all of this village.
