Glenn Russell

NORWOOD--Funeral services for Glenn Russell, 64, 1939 State Route 345, Madrid, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Andrews Church in Norwood with the Rev. Paul Worczak officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Madrid.

 Calling hours will be held today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood.

 Mr. Russell died Saturday morning (Nov. 25, 2000) at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

 Surviving are a son, Edward of Meadville, Penn.; a daughter, Christine Holeva of Meadville, Penn.; a brother, Allen of Ogdensburg; two sisters, Mrs. John (Mary Lou) Jodoin of Brockville, Ont., and Mrs. Gordon (Anne) Gonyou of Norwood; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

 He was predeceased by four brothers, Mark, Bernard, Arthur, and Sidney Jr.

 He was born in Waddington on March 15, 1936, the son of Sidney and Mary Upell Russell.

 He married Nancy Ongley on June 28, 1957. The marriage ended in divorce.

 He had resided with his niece, Mrs. David (Wanda) Tyo in Madrid.

 He was a member of St. Andrew's Church in Norwood. He enjoyed reading.

 Donations may be made to the Madrid Rescue Squad.
