Bruce T. Seamans

Truck Driver

NORWOOD--Bruce T. Seamans, 52, of 4612 North St., Jamesville, formerly of Norwood, died of liver failure Wednesday at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, where he had been a patient for a month.

 Mr. Seamans had been a driver employed by Jones & McIntosh Trucking, Syracuse.

 Born Dec. 6, 1946, in Potsdam, son of George and Alyce Dufore Seamans, he grew up in Norwood and was a 1964 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central school. Her served in the Navy from 1964 to 1967.

 He married Shari B. Youngs, daughter of Kenneth and Sharon Youngs of Boonville, on April 11, 1990. He was previsously married to Diane M. Besaw.

 Mr. Seamans was a member of the Revolutionary War re-enactment group called Rogers Rangers.

 Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Chelsea Seamans, New Jersey; three sisters, Lorraine Seamans, Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Stanley (JoAnn) Skowronek, Massena, and Carol Seamans-Smith, Oneida.

 The funeral and burial will be private. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Rochester.
