(January 2001)
NORWOOD--Miss Geraldine Sennett, 91, formerly of Norwood and Malone, died this month in Dunedin, Fla., where she resided following a lingering illness.
Miss Sennett taught business and typing in the former Norwood High School in the 1930's and 1940's before moving to Malone where she also taught business courses.
Later, she moved to Clearwater, Fla., where she also taught school there for quite sometime.
In later years, she retired and made her home in Dunedin, Fla.
There are a lot of former Norwood High School students of that era, who still reside in the Norwood area, including Mildred Jenkins, in the graduation class of 1938. Therefore, Geraldine Sennett was the last living Norwood High School teacher of the 1930's and possibly the 1940's in that era.
