Funeral services for William H. Shepard, 76, former Norwood resident, who died Monday in Rochester, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Shepard Funeral home in Norwood. Interment was in Sanfordville cemetery.

He was born on March 28, 1873, in Norfolk, a son of George M. and Ellen T. Shepard, and on Sept. 14, 1904, married Miss T. Mabel Lewis, North Stockholm. She died on June 29, 1942. The couple resided in Norwood for a number of years after their marriage, and also lived in Syracuse.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Annabelle Williams, Rochester; a son, Wayland Shepard, Minoa; a grandson, Robert; a sister, Mrs. Charles Hollis, Canton, and two brothers, Leroy Shepard, East Greenwich, R.I., and George L. Shepard, Norwood.
