MASSENA--Mary W. Smith, 92, Jefferson Avenue, died Wednesday at her home, under the care of her family and Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.

Mrs. Smith was a former sales representative at Puritan Dress Shop.

Born Dec. 15, 1912, in Norwood, a daughter of Frank and Elgina Leete Wolstenholme, she was a graduate of Norwood High School. She married Oliver Smith on April 23, 1941, at the Methodist parsonage, Malone, with the Rev. Harry Campbell officiating. Mr. Smith died July 8, 1986.

She enjoyed sewing and camping.

Surviving are a brother, Frank Wolstenholme, Elmira, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Two brothers, Bernard and Lyle Wolstenholme, and three sisters, Ruth Reynolds, Mable Wilbur and Helen Vanderberg, died before her.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Memorial Home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Norfolk.

A calling hour will be 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
