NORWOOD--Harriet E. Spoor, 78, River Road, died Saturday morning at her home.

Mrs. Spoor was a homemaker and a member of Norwood United Methodist Church.

She was born March 20, 1920, at Ellenburg Depot, a daughter of Martin and Mary Fitch Magoon. She married Harvey Spoor Nov. 30, 1940.

Surviving besides her husband are a son, Allan, Millers Tavern, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Carolyn) Lippolis, Floral City, Fla., Mrs. Kenneth (Beverly) Wilson, Cornwall, Ontario, and Mrs. Jeff (Susan) Richards, Norwood; a sister, Kathryn Latta, Delmar; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Charles and Gerald Magoon, died before her.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Buck Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in Whispering Maples Memorial Garden, Ellenburg Depot.

Calling hours will be noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
