MASSENA--A graveside service for Ada M. St. Dennis, 83, formerly of Potsdam and Watertown, will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Potsdam.
Mrs. St. Dennis died Saturday afternoon in St. Regis Nursing Home, where she had resided since Nov. 8, 1995.
There will be no calling hours.
Born May 31, 1917, in Norwood, daughter of John A. and Alice Bedford Cutler, she attended Norwood schools. After school, she worked in the National Army Store, Canton.
She married Bernard W. St. Dennis on Feb. 2, 1936, in St. Mary's Church with the Rev. Timothy J. Mahoney officiating. The couple lived in Potsdam until 1967, when they moved to Liverpool. After her husband's retirement from Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. in 1978, they moved to Watertown. Mr. St. Dennis died Dec. 29, 1994.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann Hamilton, Massena; a sister, Jean Manfred, Potsdam; a brother, Raymond Cutler, Potsdam, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A sister, Kathleen Day, and a brother, Austin Cutler, died before her.
Arrangements are with Garner Funeral Home, Potsdam.
