Col. H. R. Stoughton, who a few years ago was agent of the O. & L.C. R. R. at Norwood, died suddenly Sept. 17th, of heart disease, at Otsego, Mich., where he had gone to visit his brother. He was sixty-six years old and had been in failing health for about a year. Since leaving Norwood he had been agent of the C. V. R. R. at Barre, Vermont, where he was residing with his family at the time of his death. During a part of the time he resided at Norwood, he was superintendent of the Congregational Sunday School.
