MASSENA--A funeral Mass for Richard A. Wood, 63, of 15134 Route 37, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Church with the Revs. Jack Downs and Richard Demers officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Louisville.

 Mr. Wood died at 11:35 a.m. Monday at Massena Memorial Hospital.

 Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Phillips Memorial Home, with a vigil service at 8:30 p.m.

 He was employed by General Motors Powertrain Division, Massena, until retiring as a supervisor in 1992.

 Born Jan. 13, 1938, in Mooers, a son of Leland and Margaret Garrow Wood, he was a graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School and married Shirley M. Terry on May 16, 1959, at St. Joseph’s Church with the Rev. Harold Skelly officiating.

 Surviving besides his wife are a son and his wife, Lee M. and Patricia, Sodus; three step-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

 Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
