NORWOOD--A joint funeral service for Steve Wright, 49, and his wife, Laura Davey Wright, 44, Baldwin Avenue will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrews Church with Monsignor Harry K. Snow, pastor, officiating. Spring burial will be in Visitation Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Wright were struck and killed Thursday by a motorist as they attempted to cross a road in Houston, Texas.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.
Mr. Wright was an auto body repair instructor for St. Lawrence-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services in Norwood.
Born April 17, 1955, in Littleton, N.H., a son of William and Dora Colbeth Wright, a marriage to Laurie Cominole ended in divorce. He married Laura Davey Donnelly on June 28, 2003.
Surviving besides his mother, of Littleton, N.H., are a son, Mark, Saranac Lake; a daughter, Stephanie Wright, Saranac Lake; and a sister, Cheryl Cardinal, Littleton.
Mrs. Wright was office manager/dental assistant at Smile Care Associates in Canton.
Born Oct. 20, 1960, in Massena, daughter of John and Thelma Daggett Davey, a marriage to Brian Donnelly ended in divorce.
Surviving are her father, of Massena, her mother, of Norfolk; a son, Mark Donnelly, Norwood; two daughters, Erin Donnelly, Russell, and Katie Donnelly, Norwood; two brothers, Raymond and Frank Davey, both of Norwood; two sisters and their husbands, LeAnn and Thomas Saxby, Norfolk, and Elizabeth and Mark Henshaw, Port Charlotte, Fla.
A brother, Rodney Davey, died before her.
