Lloyd C. Yale, one of the oldest residents of Norwood, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. B. Hall last week Tuesday. Mr. Yale was born at Martinsburg, Lewis county, in 1811, removing in early life to West Potsdam and later to Norfolk, where he built a mill and several houses at Yaleville. After selling his lumber business he removed to Norwood, where he has made his home since. Two sons and three daughters survive him. He was a member of the Congregational Church here. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. James Thomson, were held at Mrs. Halls residence, Friday morning. Burial at West Potsdam.
