Frances Ashley

POTSDAM--Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances P. Ashley, 86, of Larnard Street, will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, also in Norwood.

Mrs. Ashley was found dead at home on Thursday (Jan. 8, 1998).

She is survived by sons, Arthur Ashley of Kingston Springs, Tenn., Harold Ashley of Webster, NY, Lowell Ashley of Raymondville, and Richard Ashley of Fort Jackson, NY; daughters, Mrs. Eva Self of Holyoke, Mass., Mrs. Jack (Rose) Filer of Massena and Mrs. William (Donna) Nichols of Potsdam; sister, Irene Ashley of Baldwinsville, NY; 28 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ashley was predeceased by son Raymond and daughter Jean Vari.

She was born in Norfolk on May 19, 1911 to Mr. and Mrs. Willard Moody. She was a homemaker and a member of the Norwood United Methodist Church.
