HORNELL/FRIENDSHIP--Ralph V. Barrigar, 72, of 7113 North Main Street, died Thursday (June 17, 1999) at his home. Born in Norwood, New York on Aug. 26, 1926 a son of Pearl and Grace Dashner Barrigar, he had resided in Rochester and made his home in Friendship during the summer. He had been employed as a truck driver for genesee Valley Packaging in Rochester. Surviving are his wife, Olive Mills Barrigar, whom he married in 1957; one daughter, Patricia (David) Sickler of springwater; one son, Charles (Mary) Barrigar of Rochester; two sisters, Nina Spencer of Norwood, NY and Inez Roberts of Potsdam, NY; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday to receive friends at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St., Hornell where funeral services will follow calling hours at 8 p.m. Burial and committal services will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Norwood, NY Monday at 2 p.m.
