(1810-September 28, 1899)

Reuben Betts, for the past thirty years a resident of Norwood, died at his home in this village last Thursday, aged 90 years. In his youth Mr. Betts was a student at Gouverneur Wesleyan Seminary under Jesse T. Peck and the friendship originating at that time endured through life.
