NORWOOD--Funeral services for Roy Blodgett, 79, of Bristol, Vt., formerly of Norwood, were held Friday afternoon at the Buck Funeral Home of Norwood, Rev. Lawrence Jones officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Blodgett died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1981, at the Mary Fletcher Unit of the Burlington Medical Center in Vermont.

He is survived by four sons, Richard of Hannibal, N.Y.; James of Wingdale, Robert of Bristol, Vt., William of Plattsburg; and one brother, Jay Blodgett of Potsdam.

Mr. Blodgett was born in Lacona, N.Y. on March 30, 1937, the son of Malcolm and Alice (Porter) Blodgett. On March 30, 1937, he married Helen Gillett in Great Bend, Pa.

Mr. Blodgett was a printer and was employed at the Potsdam Courier, The Massena Observer and the Ogdensburg Journal over a period of many years.
