NORFOLK--Edward A. Bombard, 66, Norfolk, died Friday morning at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, Vt.

Mr. Bombard died of injuries suffered Thursday evening when he was hit on Main Street by a car driven by Scott M. Adner, 18, Norwood. Mr. Bombard was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, by Norfolk Rescue personnel and later transferred to Fletcher Allen Health Care.

Born Sept. 13, 1932, in Norwood, he was a son of Alfred and Hazel Chase Bombard.

Surviving are a stepbrother, Richard Martin, Norfolk; two sisters-in-law, Betty Bombard and Marie Bombard, both of Norfolk, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Buck Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
