Marion Bowker

NORWOOD--Funeral services for Marion Bowker, 73, of R.D. 1, Norwood, were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood, the Rev. Betsey Mowry, pastor of the United Church of Madrid, officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Norwood.

Mrs. Bowker died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 9, 1982) at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital, where she had been a patient since Oct. 30.

Surviving are her husband, Leo; a son, Lyman of Weaver, Ala.; a daughter, Mrs. Casey (Joyce) Segall of Newark, N.J.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bowker was born in Ogdensburg on July 30, 1909, the daughter of Arthur and Minnie Bowen Marseau.

She married Leo Bowker on June 4, 1929.

In her earlier years, she worked at the former Norwood Dairy Creamery.

Mrs. Bowker was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Norwood and the (remainder of obituary not legible).
