NORWOOD--The funeral for Alice K. Campbell, 87, of 26 1/2 Lakeview St., Lake Placid, formerly of Norwood, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Buck Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Harris officiating. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Campbell died Saturday in Adirondack Medical Center, Saranac Lake. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. A homemaker, she was a member of the United Methodist Church and was active with the Essex County Nutrition Program, Lake Placid. Born June 6, 1911, in Potsdam, daughter of Melvin and Jessie Carbino Kennedy, she married Harold Campbell on Feb. 6, 1932, at the United Methodist Church, Potsdam, with the Rev. John A. Redmond officiating. Mr. Campbell died Feb. 11, 1965. Surviving are a son, Ronald J., Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Charlyne "Cheri") Phillips, Lake Placid, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A son, Gary, died before her. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
