Pot tender

NORFOLK--The funeral for Ronald J. Campbell, 60, of 15 Hutchins St., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Visitation with the Rev. Andrew J. Amyot officiating. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.

Mr. Campbell died Monday afternoon at his home.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Buck Funeral Home.

He served with the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a pot tender at Reynolds Metals, Massena, retiring in 2000.

Born Dec. 12, 1943, in Norwood, a son of Harold and Alice Kennedy Campbell, he was a graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School and married Rosalie Marie Town on July 29, 1972.

Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Denise Campbell, New York City, and Alison Campbell, Norfolk, and a sister, Mrs. Richard (Charlyne) Phillips, Lake Placid.

A brother, Garry "Denny" died before him.

Donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley or Norfolk Volunteer Rescue Squad.
