Mrs. Camp Of Norwood Dead At 62

 

(September 23, 1897-May 28, 1960)

 

Norwood--Mrs. Ethel Camp, 62, of Norwood died at 7:30 Saturday night, May 28, 1960, at her home on Park St. after being in failing health eight months.

Services were held at 11 Tuesday morning at the Buck Funeral home. The Rev. Stanley E. Smith, former pastor of the Norwood Methodist Church, now of Richville Springs, officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Surviving are her father, George Dayton of Tampa, Fla., two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Lillian) Baisley of Yonkers and Mrs. Luell (Leona) Seeley of Norwood, two sons, Kenneth of Pierrepont and Lyle of Norwood, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Camp was born Sept. 23, 1897 in Norfolk, the daughter of George and Anna Merkley Dayton. She and Merton Camp were married in early life and he died in 1954. She spent most of her life in Norwood.
