Met A Horrible Death
Norwood, Sept. 28--William Capron, machinist and engineer employed by the Norwood Paper Company for the past two years, was killed Tuesday morning while taking up the slack in a drive of main belt in the wet room of the mill. The man was caught in the belt and his body was rapidly whirled around, striking the floor several times, crushing his head in a horrible manner. The accident was witnessed by several employees and the machinery stopped as soon as possible, but death resulted in 25 minutes. Mr. Capron was about 40 years of age and is survived by his mother, who resides in the East and his wife and two small children who live in Norwood. He has resided here for several years past.
