Lloyd W. Casselman

(November 25, 1925-April 30, 2006)

 

NORWOOD--Lloyd W. Casselman, 80, formerly of Elm Street, died early Sunday at United Helpers Canton Nursing Home.

Mr. Casselman was a laborer at Elliott’s Hardwood, Potsdam.

He was born Nov. 25, 1925, in Norwood, son of Ernest and Nellie Trimm Casselman.

Mr. Casselman served in the Army from 1944 to 1946 and was a member of Norwood American Legion.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Lola Casselman, Massena, nieces and nephews.

Three brothers, Leonard, Floyd and Ronald, and a sister, Loretta Trimm, died before him.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Buck Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Stockwell, pastor of Norwood United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to United Helpers Nursing Building Fund.
