Jean E. Clark

Church organist

NORWOOD--Jean E. Clark, 89, Wynwood, Manlius, formerly of Norwood, died Monday at her home.

Before moving to Manlius three years ago, Mrs. Clark had lived in Norwood since birth. She was active in the United Methodist Church of Norwood, serving as organist for many years and then as Sunday school superintendent.

Born Sept. 13, 1915, in Norwood, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary Elizabeth Rattray Plummer.

She married Hubert F. Clark on Feb. 11, 1933. Mr. Clark, who owned Norwood Plumbing & Heating, died May 30, 2001.

A son, Richard, died in 1983.

Among her survivors are a son, Robert, Fayetteville; a daughter, Carolyn Williams, Syracuse; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. July 23 at the United Methodist Church of Norwood, followed by a reception at the church.

Arrangements are with Greenleaf Funeral Home, Syracuse.

In place of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Church of Norwood.
