(died January 10, 1910)
Mrs. Mabel Ashley Drew died at a hospital in Troy, at about 4 oclock Monday morning. In an effort to save her life, amputation of one limb was thought best, and a week ago the operation was performed. She rallied and hopes were entertained of her recovery, but on Saturday it was known that she could live but a short time. Her mother, Mrs. Angeline Ashley was with her during her sickness. The body was brought to Norwood and buried in the family plot.
Mrs. Drew was about 39 years of age, and leaves a husband, Herbert F. Drew, and a daughter, Dorothy, aged 14 years; a mother, Mrs. Angeline Ashley; two brothers, Leslie L. and Charles H. Ashley; and two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Collins and Mrs. S. P. Phelps.

(Mrs. Drew is probably buried at Riverside Cemetery, Norwood with members of her family, but no stone for her is on the stone census).
