NORWOOD--The funeral for Pearl M. Gonyou, 86, of 6 Elm St., will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at Buck Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Gonyou died Thursday afternoon at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gonyou was a homemaker.

Born July 9, 1916, in North Lawrence, she was a daughter of Andrew and Christie Greenwood Deugaw.

She married Kenneth Gonyou on Dec. 30, 1933, with the Rev. James Duffy officiating. Mr. Gonyou died Dec. 20, 1997.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Calvin (Barbara) Kearney, Fillmore, Calif.; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A daughter, Catherine Heater, died in 1980.
