Services for Mrs. Margaret Sheets Grant, 86, who died Saturday at the home of her son, Nelson, in Potsdam, were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist church in Norwood. The Rev. William C. Wood, pastor, officiated and interment was in Riverside cemetery.

She was born on May 12, 1864 in Molnet, Ont., a daughter of John and Sarah Mattice Sheets. She was first married to Austin Cutler in 1884 and his death occurred in 1893. On July 22, she was married to Alexander Grant, who died in September, 1924. The couple lived in Norwood for a number of years and for the past ten years Mrs. Grant had made her home in Potsdam.

Surviving are two children by the first marriage. Mrs. Royal Mattice, Norfolk, and Arthur Cutler, Norfolk; six children, Mrs. Ralph Dunbar, Fine; Donald, Syracuse Archie, Ogdensburg; Ronald and Nelson, both of Potsdam; a brother, Nelson Sheets, Norfolk, and two sisters, Mrs. William Gillard, Finch, Ont., and Mrs. Ida LaPiere, Williamsburg, Ont. There are 26 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
