PULASKI--Arline F. Haney, 82, of 3402 Maple Street, formerly of Norwood, died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Haney was a homemaker and foster mother and was active with Girl and Boy Scouts of America in Connecticut and New York state.
Born April 14, 1920, in Dana, Mass., daughter of Howard and Alma Joiner Cotton, she married Ferdinand F. Haney on April 2, 1943. He died Nov. 6, 1971.
Surviving are four sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Jessie, San Diego, Calif., Ronald and Lois, Palm Bay, Fla., James, Lake Charles, La., and David, Fulton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara "Janie" Michaud and Penelope and Donald Kingsley, all of Pulaski; a brother, Gaylord Cotton, Southington, Conn.; two sisters, Ruth Chase, North Brookfield, Mass., and Barbara McEnroe, West Hartford, Conn.; 22 grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood, with the Rev. Brian Kellington, rector of St. Phillips Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.
There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made to Girl or Boy Scouts of America, Oswego County Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
