NORWOOD--Jerry W. Henry, 50, Norwood, died Friday morning, in Midwestern Regional Medical Center, Zion, Ill., after being ill with cancer for a year.

Mr. Henry was a maintenance employee with Massena Memorial Hospital for 15 years.

Born Nov. 30, 1948, in Massena, a son of Gerald A. Henry and Lois Ferris Seamans, he was a 1967 graduate of St. Lawrence Central School, Brasher Falls, and a graduate of Mater Dei College, Ogdensburg. He married Jane I. Mott of Winthrop on Nov. 18, 1972, at St. Patrick's Church, Brasher Falls, with the Rev. Louis Gardner officiating.

He was a member of New Testament Church, Massena.

Surviving besides his wife, his father of Brasher Falls and his mother of Massena are two sons, Adam and Joshua, both at home; two daughters, Nicole and April Henry, also at home; two brothers, Michael, Brasher Falls, and Kenneth, Reno, Nev.; a halfbrother, John Henry, Fort Eustis, Va.; his grandfather, Maurice Ferris, Washington, Mo., and several nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.

The funeral will be at noon Thursday at New Testament Church, Massena. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hammill Funeral Home, Winthrop. Donations may be made to New Testament Christian Academy or Midwestern Regional Medical Center, 2520 Elisha Ave., Zion, Ill. 60099.
