Equipment Operator

MASSENA--There will no funeral service or calling hours for Theodore E. House, 72, of 101 Andrews St. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood. Mr. House died Monday at his home. Arrangements are with Buck Funeral Home, Norwood. He owned and operated a dairy farm and was an equipment operator for the town of Potsdam until his retirement in 1987, after 22 years. Born May 7, 1928, in Madrid, son of Horace and Katherine Osway House, he was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge and American Legion Post 74, Potsdam, and a past member of the Stag Club, Colton, and Barney Pond Fish and Game Club, South Colton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing bingo and watching deer. Surviving are three nephews, Charles E. House, Jr., Potsdam, Steven House, Hannawa Falls, and Mark House, Norwood; a niece, Mrs. Richard (Linda) Senecal, Norwood; an aunt and several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. A brother, Charles E., died before him.
