WEST STOCKHOLM--A graveside service for Ronald E. Jessmer, 67, formerly of Hatch Road, was scheduled for 3 p.m. today in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.

Mr. Jessmer died Monday morning at Community Nursing Home, Potsdam, where he had been a resident since August.

There will no calling hours. Arrangements are with Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.

He served in the Army for three years, was employed by Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp., Benson Mines, and was a steam engineer at the University of Rochester until his retirement because of disability.

Born Aug. 20, 1931, at Newton Falls, son of Elmer H. and Winifred Doran Jessmer, he was a graduate of Newton Falls High School and married Anna DeGouff.

Surviving besides his wife are a son, Andrew, Chicago, Ill.; a daughter, Debbie Bubb, Watertown; four stepdaughters, Connie Perrin, Clifton Springs, Carol Palmeri, Florida, Marie Lanphear, Rochester, and Corrine Whitlow, Albany; a sister, Shirley King, Liverpool, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
