NORWOOD--Ethel M. Loomis, 93, of 6 Ashley St., died Wednesday morning in Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, where she had been a patient since April 12.

She was a homemaker. Born Jan. 15, 1908, at St. Regis Falls, daughter of Julius and Emmaline Snyder Richards, she married Leon R. Loomis on Nov. 14, 1929, in Norwood with the Rev. Wilbur Clark officiating. Mr. Loomis died Nov. 22, 1962.

Surviving are three sons, Bernard, Potsdam, Harold, Norwood, and Frank, Massena; three daughters, Fay Gladding, Winthrop, and Mrs. Roy (Ruth) Garrow and Virginia Loomis, both of Norwood, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be a 11 a.m. Saturday at Buck Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Harris, Pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
