Funeral services for Charles McGill, 66, who passed away at the home of Mr. And Mrs. George B. Good on Cherry St. on Wednesday evening were held Friday afternoon from the L. L. Sullivan funeral chapel. Rev. Orion Hess, pastor of the Baptist church, officiated with burial in Riverside cemetery at Norwood.
Mr. McGill was born in Norwood on April 11, 1883, the son of Mr. And Mrs. Robert McGill. He attended Norwood school and had been employed for many years at the Racquette River Paper company in Potsdam and with the International Paper company at Niagara Falls, N.Y. He had never married. He formerly was known as a baseball player in this area.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. James Bain of Brooklyn and one brother, Fred McGill of Hamilton St.
