Maintenance Worker

WEST STOCKHOLM--The funeral for Robert L. Morrow Sr., 85, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Garner Funeral Home, Potsdam, with the Rev. Debra Waldron officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.

Mr. Morrow, West Stockholm, died Friday at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, where he had been a patient since Monday.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Born Feb. 8, 1914, in Clare, son of Leon and Florence Brouse Morrow, he attended school in Clare.

He married Mary Bronson Oct. 23, 1936, in Potsdam. Mrs. Morrow died May 11.

Mr. Morrow was employed by Elliot Hardwood, Potsdam, for more than 30 years, and later worked on the maintenance staff at Potsdam State University College. He also worked for the West Stockholm Cemetery Association and did lawn care and maintenance work for local residents. He had been disabled for several years.

He attended West Stockholm United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons and their wives, Robert L. and Virginia Morrow, Heuvelton, and James G. and Tina Morrow, West Stockholm; two sisters, Helen Graham, Syracuse, and Dorothy Santay, Roanoke, Va.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the West Stockholm Volunteer Fire Department, its ladies auxiliary, West Stockholm United Methodist Church or Hospice of the St. Lawrence Valley.
