Colonel Edward Nelson died at his home in Norwood last Wednesday, aged 62 years. Mr. Nelsons health has been very poor for a number of years, but he was confined to the bed only a week. He was a member of Luther Priest Post G.A.R., also an Odd Fellow, a Forester and a Rebecca. His funeral was held Sunday at 2 p.m. and the four organizations, and the Womens Relief Corps attended in a body. Mr. Nelson was elected town collector twice and several times collected the school and village tax. Mr. Nelson was highly respected and will be greatly missed. He leaves a wife and three children.
