NORWOOD--Elizabeth A. Orologio, 75, of 4 Prospect St., died Monday evening in Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam.
Mrs. Orologio had worked at Oval Wood Dish Corp., Potsdam, was a seamstress for Tri-Town Cleaners in Potsdam and worked for Kinney Drugs from 1972 to 1981.
Born July 14, 1929, in Potsdam, daughter of Walter and Doris Wells Speer, she graduated from Norwood High School.
She married Nicholas Orologio on July 8, 1949, at St. Andrews rectory with the Rev. Joseph Quinn officiating. Mr. Orologio died July 10, 2003.
She was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader for many years, was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and cross-stitching.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Nicholas Jr., and Rose, Norwood; two daughters and a son-in-law, Leslie Clark and Nancy and James Besaw, all of Norwood; a brother and his wife, Donald and Karen Speer, Massena; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary J. Logan, Massena, and Janet and Edward Thornton, Hannawa Falls; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood, with Monsignor Harry K. Snow, pastor of St. Andrews Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Canton-Potsdam Hospital or a charity of ones choice.
