NORWOOD--Memorial services for Shirley D. Orologio, 79, of 1135 River Road, Norwood, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, Norwood, with Rev. Genevieve Dox, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.

There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.

Mrs. Orologio died Sunday (Feb. 12, 2006) at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony; three sons and two daughters-in-law, William Robert and Martha Orologio, Norwood, Tom Orologio and his fiancée, Pam Nichols, Norfolk, and Timothy J. and Nancy Orologio, Norwood; eight grandchildren two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Connie Rainwater, Gainesville, Fla.; and Janice Wing, Vancouver, British Columbia.

She was predeceased by a grandchild, Anthony William, in 1970; and two brothers, Wendell and Billy Fuller.

She was born Aug. 24, 1926, in Norwood, the daughter of Wendell C. and Doris (Plummer) Fuller.

She married Anthony C. Orologio on June 1, 1947.

She worked as a registered nurse at the Potsdam Nursing Home, where she was evening supervisor. She also worked as a registered nurse in Anchorage, Alaska.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Norwood and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a Norwood-Norfolk Central School Board of Education member for 13 years.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Congregational Church in Norwood.
