CHILDWOLD--The funeral for Scott L. Palmer, 36, of 8954 Route 3, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood, with the Rev. Richard Lenz officiating. Spring burial will be at a site to be determined.
Mr. Palmer was pronounced dead Thursday afternoon at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Palmer was general manager of Davis Pontiac-Isuzu Inc., Richboro, Pa., for more than two years.
He was born May 22, 1966, in Barre, Vt., son of Myron Palmer and Phyllis Chase.
Surviving besides his mother, Phyllis Chase of Childwold, are his companion, Kimberly Rutley, Potsdam; a son, Chase William Palmer, Potsdam; a daughter, Chelsea Palmer, Potsdam; his stepfather, Hamilton Ferry Jr., Childwold; a sister, Mrs. John (Kaneta) Cameron, Massena; three half brothers, Stewart Palmer, Norwood, Jerry Palmer, Florida, and Leo Palmer, Norfolk; a half sister, Lori Greene, Norwood, and his grandmothers, Bessie Chase, Greensboro, Vt., and Marion Bond, Norfolk.
His father died before him.
