Norwood--Marian A. Richardson, 75, of 9 Cottage St., died Sunday in Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Buck Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Worczak officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Buck Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad, Norwood unit.
Surviving are a son, Herbert E. Jr., Colma, Calif.; three grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; several step-great-great-grandchildren and a brother, Charles Claffey, Knoxville, Tenn.
A son, James, died Aug. 6, 1974.
Born in Norwood on Aug. 14, 1917, a son of Earl and Lila Shaw Claffey, she married Herbert J. Richardson on July 7, 1937 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Edwards, Norwood, with the Rev. Harold Wiley Freer, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating. He died Nov. 28, 1978.
Mrs. Richardson was employed with Purvis' Restaurant as a cook.She was a member of the First Congregational Church.
