WINTHROP--A spring graveside service for Margaret J. Steinburg, 68, formerly of 2813 County Route 47, will be at Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.

Mrs. Steinburg died Wednesday at Community Nursing Home, Potsdam, where she had been a resident since Feb. 6.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.

She was a cook with the food service department of Potsdam Auxiliary and College Education Services (PACES) at Potsdam State University College until her retirement in 1998 after 32 years.

Born Jan. 28, 1934, in Sherburne, daughter of Howard and Beatrice Fredenburg Cleveland, she married Robert W. Steinburg Jr. He died Dec. 10, 1995.

She was a member of Civil Service Employees Association 625 and enjoyed crocheting.

Surviving are four sons, Robert W. III, Syracuse, Brian and Thomas, both of Norwood and Timothy, address unknown; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Christine) Bradshaw, Potsdam, and Mrs. Michael (Holly) Beamish, Norfolk; a brother, Ronald Cleveland, Earlville; two sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Winfred) Mackey, Camden, and Mrs. William (Nadine) Meigs, Philadelphia, Pa., and three grandchildren.

A son, Howard, died before her.

Donations may be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
