NORWOOD--Mable W. Wilber, 83,South Main Street, died Saturday morning in Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam.

Mrs. Wilber was a homemaker.

Born Aug. 23, 1917, in Potsdam, a daughter of Frank and Elgina Leete Wolstenholme, she married Howard Wilber on Jan. 22, 1941.

She was a communicant of St. Philip's Episcopal Church and a member of its Altar Guild.

Surviving besides her husband are a son, Thomas, Norwood; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Linda) Regan, Bernardston, Mass., and Mrs. William (Marsha) Jarrell, Westfield, Mass.; a brother, Frank Wolstenholme, Elmira; a sister, Mary Smith, Massena; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Carolyn Ann Wilber, two brothers, Lyle and Bernard Wolstenholme, and three sisters, Ruth Reynolds, Helen Vanderburg and Annie Francis, died before her.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Philip's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Buck Funeral Home.

Donations may be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
